BrowserShow is built with privacy in mind. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.
1. Free tier — no account, no data collected
When you use BrowserShow without an account, your slideshow configuration (URLs and timings) is stored only in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it.
2. Plus accounts
If you create a Plus account, we collect the following to provide the service:
- Your email address (for login and billing communication)
- Your slideshow data (URLs, names, timings) — stored to enable cloud sync
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details.
3. Usage data
We may collect basic, anonymized usage data (such as page views and feature interactions) to understand how BrowserShow is used and to improve the product. This data is not linked to individual users.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication on Plus accounts. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
6. Data retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
